A: No, the state of South Carolina does not license home care providers. However, we welcome state licensure and regulation. We have very strict standards that meet Joint Commission guidelines.

Q: Will my insurance cover the cost?
A: Medicare does not typically cover this type of service. Veterans Administration may cover some in-home care depending on your circumstance. Long Term Care covers in-home care costs up to 100%.
